Honda has taken the wraps off the fourth-generation Jazz at the 2019 Tokyo motor show. The Honda Jazz is also known as the Honda Fit in some markets such as Japan and the US. The model will replace the current model and will go on sale from February in Japan and will subsequently go on sale globally.[gallery size="full" ids="12334,12335,12336,12337,12328,12333,12339"]As far as the new Jazz’s styling goes, the new Jazz looks toned down compared to the sharper-looking outgoing model. The new model also features more curved lines and redesigned chunkier headlights, wrap-around tail lamps, bumpers and bonnet and a bluff nose that gathers all the attention.[gallery size="full" ids="12330,12329,12331,12332"]Inside, the Jazz has a minimalistic layout and the dashboard has a flat-topped design unlike the multilayered driver-centric layout of the outgoing model. You now get a bigger touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster. Honda’s 2-motor hybrid system called e:HEV will debut with the new Jazz while powering the vehicle could be a 1.5-liter directed-injected i-VTEC petrol engine. It is also expected to be powered by Honda’s latest 1.0-liter VTEC Turbo engine globally. The India-spec model is likely to continue with the 1.2-liter petrol and 1.5-liter diesel.
In Japan, the Honda Jazz is available in 5 variants: Basic, Home, Ness, Crosstar, and Luxe.
